Date / Time: October 6, 14:00-15:30
During this walkshop, participants will have the opportunity to explore the city from a unique perspective - that of a child at a height of 95cm. To achieve this viewpoint, participants will be equipped with a reverse periscope, a DIY tool created as part of the Streets for Kids program by the Global Designing Cities Initiative. The tool is designed to encourage planners, city officials, and others to experience city streets from a child's perspective, taking into account the obstacles and attractions that might not be visible from an adult's height. Once participants have had the chance to explore and observe the city from a child's perspective, the walkshop will continue with a group discussion where experiences and insights will be shared and discussed.
