Event Description

İstanbul Barometer data will be examined in terms of how it can be interpreted and the role it can play in urban policies and decision-making processes. The discussion will focus on how data can serve not only as a technical metric but also as a tool that nurtures democratic urban governance. Furthermore, ways of generating new syntheses by overlapping different data sets from the Barometer and fostering dialogue around the data published by Istanbul Planning Agency will be explored.
