Knowledge and History: How Water Shaped Our Cities

Water is a prominent topic in urbanism, not only as a vital resource for humanity but also a tool with its structural power over nature and built-environment. During the session, a number of recent projects involving the changing role of water in urban cityscape will be presented and evaluated by the project representatives. The selection of the projects varies on a wide context and content spectrum, which renders the relations between development, urbanism, technology, art and culture fields more visible.
