Urban poverty is not merely an economic issue; it is a multi-layered phenomenon that affects broad segments of society through various dimensions such as housing, transportation, access to basic services, and social inclusion. Building on the importance of having a holistic perspective on urban poverty, this session opens a discussion on how poverty is experienced by different segments of society in cities and how it can be brought to the center of local policies.
