En-ROADS Climate Action Workshop – A Collaborative Climate Scenario Experience for the 1.5°C Goal

In this workshop, an interactive climate scenario will be created with participants using the En-ROADS Climate Model developed by MIT Sloan and Climate Interactive, allowing the global impacts of proposed climate actions to be seen instantly. The exercise will test climate solutions suggested by participants and explore pathways to achieving the 1.5°C target set under the Paris Climate Agreement. Following the creation of the climate scenario, the workshop will focus on the implications of the resulting global scenario for local governments and share insights on strategic climate actions that can generate impact at the local level.
