Closing Session | In Pursuit of New Possibilities

This is not a closing! On the final day of MARUF, we gather one last time before dispersing from the Haliç Congress Center into the city. After three days of thinking, talking, imagining, and re-envisioning our cities together, we now take a moment to look back at this collective creation “from the shore of all possibilities.” Together, we question whether we were able to truly delve deep at MARUF and whether we found answers to the questions we’ve been seeking. The closing session of MARUF25 invites us to reflect on the experiences we’ve shared while setting out to trace “new possibilities” for the future of our cities and societies. Here, we dream together about what we will take with us, the steps we will take in the future, and where our next encounters might be. This gathering is not a farewell, but rather the first step toward the next stages of a shared journey.
