Collective Works
Weaveing the New With Waste
This collective work aims to highlight the value of materials often labeled as waste and showcase opportunities for their reuse. Using discarded textile materials, the project will explore themes of sustainability, participation, and co-production, allowing participants to work with both their own brought-in waste materials and those provided by the artist.

Seeing. Hearing. Narrating
Within the scope of MARUF on the Go, participants who have explored techniques for capturing the city and transforming urban experiences into digital narratives through online sessions will bring these experiences to life at MARUF25 through a process of recording MARUF’s images and sounds and producing digital stories. The digital narratives, created using text, audio, and video, will contribute to MARUF’s digital memory through careful editing. Participants will engage in an ongoing process of capture and creation throughout MARUF, culminating in a unique MARUF narrative produced by each participant.

Water's Edge: A Placemaking Experiment
In this placemaking activity, designed to understand changing coastlines and develop new visions for the future, participants will create three-dimensional symbolic sculptures using physical objects. While materializing the current state and potential futures, they will examine the system from different perspectives, exploring their feelings, facts, assumptions, and intentions. Finally, the sculptures will be reorganized based on the insights gained, and key points of transformation along the coastlines will be assessed.

Caught in MARUF’s Net
Throughout MARUF25, participants will share what they have gathered in their Deep Dive Diaries through objects, words, and images within this living network. Continuously nurtured with texts, drawings, and objects, the network will grow richer with contributions from both participants and volunteers. Emerging along the shore, it will weave these experiences and contributions into a collective, dynamic body of knowledge.

Uncover the Possible
Focusing on possibilities, this collective work offers participants an interactive experience to explore the different layers of the city. As these layers overlap, the fragility and transformative power of knowledge emerge, reshaping urban realities. By bringing all the pieces together, urban dwellers are invited to question the contrast between what is visible and what remains unseen.
