MARUF 21 NETWORKING EVENTS ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Marmara Urban Forum is now accepting applications for Networking Events. Applications close on 13th August 2021.
What are Networking Events?
In line with MARUF's motto “Cities Developing Solutions”, it is important to create the grounds for intersectional dialogue and develop multi-stakeholder collaborations in order to find solutions to intricate and multifaceted urban problems. Networking events will be organized with the participation of local administrations, NGOs, international organizations, universities, funding organizations and private sector representatives in order to pave the way for sharing knowledge and experience between institutions and strengthening partnerships.
MARUF21 Networking Events, which will directly serve the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17 “Partnerships for the Goals”, will focus on the issues determined for MARUF21 and will bring together representatives of institutions with similar interests. The format of the events can be in different types such as panel, open discussion, round table, depending on the preferences of the organizers. Various participatory tools will be used during the events to ensure that the participants take the floor. In the meetings to be held thematically, good practices will be shared in line with the determined agenda.
Networking Events to be organized through the MARUF21 online portal will allow 90 minutes and 100 participants. Events can be either in Turkish or English (There will be no simultaneous interpretation service provided).
