Abdurrahman Tutdere

Abdurrahman Tutdere pursued higher education at Atatürk University, Erzincan Faculty of Law. Upon graduating, he began practicing as an independent lawyer registered with the Adıyaman Bar Association in 2001. In addition to being a certified mediator, Tutdere actively took part in various non-governmental organizations and platforms throughout his legal career. His political career began in 1998 with the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Adıyaman Provincial Youth Branch, where he went on to assume various roles. 

He was elected as a Member of Parliament for Adıyaman in the 27th and 28th legislative terms. During this period, he served as a member of the Constitution Committee, a member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT) Presidential Council, and a member of the Human Rights Inquiry Committee. While serving as a Member of Parliament for Adıyaman in the 28th legislative term, Tutdere was nominated as the CHP candidate for Mayor of Adıyaman in the March 31, 2024 Local Elections. He continues his work with the vision of transforming Adıyaman into a model city in its region.
