Alara Ürey

Alara Ürey is an accomplished professional with a strong background in EU project management, innovation, and urban mobility, currently holding key roles at Sabanci University’s Technology Transfer Office (SUATT) as Project Advisor at the Enterprise Europe Network and EIT Urban Mobility RIS Hub Türkiye Projects. In these capacities, she is instrumental in mentoring over 100 SMEs in Istanbul, facilitating B2B matchmaking events, engaging in EU project proposal writing and consortium building, and connecting urban mobility startups with public actors and international partners, providing them with mentorship, funding access, and networking opportunities.

Her expertise also encompasses technology transfer, market research, and entrepreneurship, cultivated through previous experience as a European Union Projects Specialist, where she provided consultancy on programs like Horizon Europe, Eureka, and Erasmus+.

Ürey holds a Bachelor of Economics from Sabanci University. She is currently pursuing an M.A. in International Trade Management at Boğaziçi University.
