Ali Emre Soner

Ali Emre Soner earned his bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Istanbul Technical University in 2023. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Real Estate Development at Istanbul Technical University. Since 2021, he has been working within the Department of Urban Planning at Marmara Municipalities Union and has served as an Urban Policy Expert since 2023. In addition, he has been the Assistant Editor of City and Society journal since 2024. His research focuses on urban economics, urban food systems, and participatory planning tools.
