Antonella Contin

Antonella Contin is an architect and Ph.D., is a researcher at DAStU, the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, within the School of Architecture, Urban Planning, and Construction Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.
She coordinates MSLab: Measure and Scale of the Contemporary City, and Milan MetroHUB Centre, the UN-Habitat Centre on Metropolitan Dynamics, and is involved in initiatives at Politecnico di Milano. As the scientific coordinator and organiser of international workshops and seminars, she leads several EU-funded research projects, including TEllme, Contested Territories, and Smart.
She regularly presents at numerous international universities, with her research focusing on metropolitan architecture projects, urban growth, sustainable models, intelligent and responsive cities, new technologies, and urban mapping.
