Aslıhan Aykaç Yanardağ

Aslıhan Aykaç received her undergraduate degree from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University and completed her master's and doctoral studies in the Department of Sociology at Binghamton University.
In the 2014-2015 academic year, she spent the academic year as a Fulbright scholar at Rutgers University. She currently works as a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at Ege University. She has authored books including New Jobs, New Workers: Labor in the Tourism Sector, Solidarity Economies: Alternative Approaches to Production and Distribution, and Working for the State: Working Class Experiences at Nazilli Textile Factory. Her research areas include workers' rights, the labor process, women's labor, and solidarity economies. She also teaches courses on international political economy, social movements, and globalization.
