Aydın Erdem

Aydın Erdem graduated from Istanbul Saint Joseph High School in 1991 and earned his degree from the Architecture Department at Istanbul Technical University's Faculty of Architecture in 1995. After a brief experience in the construction industry, he pursued a master’s degree in film and television journalism in Washington, D.C., between 1997 and 1999. Following his studies, he worked as a freelance programmer in the United States.  

He held various roles—including producer, editor, and program director—at leading media organizations such as NTV, CNN Türk, Kanal 1, and ANS. From 2008 to 2022, he served as a senior analyst and content creator at KONDA Research and Consultancy, a company founded by his father, Tarhan Erdem. During this time, he spearheaded the organization’s transition to data-driven technologies. As of 2022, he has been serving as the company’s general manager.  

For 38 years, KONDA has been dedicated to understanding and presenting the complexities of Turkish society through data.
