Aysel Madra

Aysel Madra received her BA in International Relations and Sociology from Johns Hopkins University and her PhD in Sociology from the New School for Social Research in 2013. After working as a postdoctoral researcher at Sabancı University, she held various research-oriented positions at the Education Reform Initiative and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law. She has lectured in various universities in the United States and Türkiye. She currently works as a Research Coordinator at Suna's Daughters, a collective impact initiative established under Suna and İnan Kıraç Foundation.
