Beyza Polat
Founder, SEAL Consulting
Beyza Polat is the founder and director of SEAL Consulting. She is an economist with expertise in analyzing large-scale datasets and developing and implementing quantitative research tools to support decision-making processes in public and private sector organizations.
Since 2014, she has been working as a team leader and/or consultant on joint projects with institutions and organizations such as the Ministry of Industry and Technology, Ministry of Trade, World Bank, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Turkish Employment Agency (İŞKUR), and SAS Institute. She has been a World Bank consultant since 2014 and, as of 2025, serves as a Consultant for the Istanbul Planning Agency Statistics Office. She has extensive experience in quantitative impact evaluation, program evaluation, regional economic analysis, labor market assessments, and sectoral economic analysis. In addition, she delivers executive training for public institutions and private sector companies on data analytics and impact evaluation.
She worked as a faculty member in the Department of Economics at Özyeğin University, where she taught Statistics, Econometrics, and Applied Microeconometrics. She has also taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses at Bilkent University and the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Polat holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bilkent University, as well as master’s degrees in Economics from both Bilkent University and LSE.
