Bürge Elvan Erginli

Bürge Elvan Erginli graduated from the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2007. She completed her master’s degree in Regional Planning at the same university in 2010 and earned her PhD in 2017 with a dissertation titled “The Social Space of Relations: Migrants’ Local and Non-Local Social Networks” within ITU’s Urban and Regional Planning Doctoral Program.
Between 2009 and 2015, she worked at university research centers on projects focusing on social and economic geography, internal migration, electoral geography, and family structures. From 2015 to 2025, she served as a coordinator for urban policy projects at TESEV. Since 2018, she has been a visiting lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Galatasaray University, where she teaches the course Networks and Social Space. Since 2025, she has been working as a Researcher at KONDA.
