Cem Türkay
Dr., Director, Healthy Cities National Network of Türkiye
Cem Türkay received his B.Sc. in Physics and M.Sc. in Materials Science and Engineering from İzmir Institute of Technology, and completed his Ph.D. studies in Biomedical Technologies at Ege University.
He has long experience as a physics and mathematics teacher, and throughout his academic and professional career, he has contributed to numerous TÜBİTAK and EU-funded projects as a researcher and coordinator.
He authored several granted projects, including “Cardimed” and the “Evaluation of İzmir Yenişehir Food Bazaar and Surroundings within the Framework of Circular City Principles” R&D project.
He is currently serving as the Director of the Healthy Cities Academy.
