Ceyda Alpay
Head of Experimentation, UNDP
Ceyda Alpay has an engineering background, holding a degree in Mining Engineering from Middle East Technical University (METU).
After three years of academic experience as a research assistant at METU, she joined UNDP to work in the field of development. She initially focused on private sector projects and, in 2019, became part of UNDP’s innovation team. She then served as the Head of the Livelihoods Programme at the World Food Programme (WFP) for approximately two years. In 2023, she returned to UNDP, where she is currently responsible for private sector programmes as well as innovation.
