Dalya Hazar
Assoc. Prof., Deputy Secretary General, Healthy Cities National Network of Türkiye
Dalya Hazar received her bachelor's degree from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Izmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) in 2009 and her master's degree from the Interdisciplinary Urban Design Program at Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 2012. She worked as a research assistant at the Department of City and Regional Planning at IZTECH between 2012 and 2018, completing her doctoral studies focusing on rural commons.
She continued her academic studies as a faculty member at the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Pamukkale University between 2019 and 2023. In 2024, she worked as the Vision 2074 Strategy Office Coordinator at the Izmir Planning Agency (IZPA), affiliated with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.
Since 2025, she has been working as the Deputy Secretary General of the Healthy Cities National Network of Türkiye. Her research interests include urban planning, urban design, urban morphology, rural planning, commons, and local sustainable development.
