Devran Bengü
Dr., Faculty Member, Istanbul Kent University
Devran Bengü holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from Yıldız Technical University and worked professionally in the construction industry for fifteen years following graduation. She completed an M.S. in Architecture in the field of Building Production, and in 2017 earned a Ph.D. from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University with a dissertation on the public realm and the production of space.
Since 2018, she have served as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Arel University and, as of 1 September 2025, will continue as a faculty member at Istanbul Kent University. Her research focuses on spatiality, participatory design, and phenomenology, aiming to advance methodological inquiry in architecture and planning.
