Dicheng Yang

Dicheng Yang is a Ph.D. candidate at Politecnico di Milano, a member of the MS Lab and Heritopolis, and a Young Researcher in the Contested Territories. His research goes under metropolitan discipline, employing cartographic methodology to examine the political coherence on geographic spaces; also exploring how ecological regeneration and green transitions can be governed from a non-human perspective.
Since 2016, he has been engaged in the study of heritage management and environmental justice in marginalised areas. His work began in rural regions of China, undergoing rapid industrial transitions and now extends to the urgent environmental challenges in Bolivia.
