Dila Toprak

Dila Toprak graduated with third honors from Istanbul Technical University Department of Urban and Regional Planning and completed her master’s degree in Urban Design. During her studies, she deepened her expertise through an exchange program at KU Leuven in Brussels, Belgium.

As a Training and Projects Expert at the Marmara Municipalities Union, Toprak develops learning programs and projects within the Local Government Academy that provide sustainable and effective solutions to meet the needs of local governments. She is also a team member of Reclaiming Streets, a practice-based learning program developed through a tactical urbanism approach.

In her academic work, Toprak focuses on the relationship between human-scale design and wayfinding, aiming to enhance the urban spatial experience through this approach.
