Ece Ömür
Urban Resilience Manager, WRI Türkiye
Ece Ömür serves as the Urban Resilience Manager, leading projects on climate resilience and sustainable urban transformation.
With over 10 years of experience, she has contributed to the success of international projects by building strategic partnerships with public and private sector organizations across Türkiye, Europe, and Central Asia.
She worked with organizations such as Enterprise Singapore, the Netherlands Innovation Network, the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation (TEF), WRI Türkiye, and the Turkish Cultural Foundation–AFS Türkiye (TKV), gaining extensive expertise across diverse fields. She specializes particularly in business development, entrepreneurship and innovation management, climate resilience strategies, and social impact–oriented projects.
Ömür holds a Bachelor’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Yıldız Technical University and a Master’s degree in Social Projects and NGO Management from Istanbul Bilgi University. Beyond her academic background, she has been actively working with civil society organizations since 2011 and is also a member of the AFS Volunteers Association.
