Eda Yücesoy

Eda Ünlü Yücesoy is an Associate Professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Istanbul Technical University. She holds a master’s degree in City and Regional Planning from Middle East Technical University and a PhD in Human Geography and City and Regional Planning from Utrecht University.

Her research and publications engage with the intersections of social, economic, and cultural geography, urban history, urban planning, and public space, with a particular focus on the spatial, economic, and social transformation of Istanbul throughout the 20th century.
