Efe Baysal

Efe Baysal graduated from the Department of History at Koç University and completed his master’s degree in Nationalism Studies at Central European University. Between 2008 and 2015, he lectured on Modern Turkish History at Koç University, while also conducting fieldwork and academic research on urban issues, ecology, and climate change.

Since 2015, Baysal has continued his work in the civil society field, where he coordinated the “A Future Without Coal” project at Yuva Association. Since 2018, he has been active at 350 Türkiye, carrying out campaigns and awareness-raising efforts on climate change.

In addition, Baysal facilitates workshops focusing on cities, climate change, and sustainability. Through both online and in-person events, he aims to raise awareness among diverse communities, with a particular focus on engaging young people.
