Elif Çora

Elif Çora is an urban planner with a Master’s degree in Regional Planning from Middle East Technical University (METU), where her research focused on energy poverty and climate justice in Türkiye. She currently works at Parabol as an Urban Planner and Project Manager, developing and leading international projects on smart mobility, intelligent transport systems, and sustainable urban development. Through her role, she has collaborated with European municipalities, universities, and research institutions on projects funded by EU programs such as Horizon Europe, EIT Urban Mobility, and IPA, gaining expertise in project management, data-driven urban analysis, and stakeholder engagement.

Beyond her professional career, Elif is the co-founder and board member of the Sustainable Impact & Ecological Planning (STEP) Association, where she focuses on sustainability advocacy, climate awareness, and community-based planning initiatives. She is also a mentor in UNDP’s Youth4Climate Program, supporting climate-tech start-ups in developing innovative and scalable solutions.

With her combined background in academic research, international project management, and NGO leadership, she has been actively moderating workshops, seminars, and community dialogues on topics including sustainability, smart mobility, climate action, and road safety.
