Ercan Özalp

Ercan Özalp graduated from Istanbul University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He began his career as a veterinarian at the Saray District Municipality in Tekirdağ Province in 1992.

In 1994, he was appointed to the Kırklareli Vize Municipality and worked as a veterinarian at the Vize Municipality until 2011. In 2011, he left the civil service and continued his veterinary practice at a private clinic. He served as the Republican People's Party (CHP) Vize District Chairman for five years. He was elected Mayor of Vize in the local elections held on March 31, 2019. He was also elected Mayor in the local elections held on March 31, 2024, and is serving his second term.
