Branch Manager, Directorate of Climate Change
Esra İnce graduated from the Department of City and Regional Planning at Gazi University and completed her master’s degree in the same field.
She has been working at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change since 2006. She began her career at the General Directorate of Spatial Planning and later served as branch manager at the General Directorate of Environmental Management and the Directorate of Climate Change. She is currently continuing her work at the Department of Climate Change Adaptation and Local Policies. Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to combine her experience in urbanism and spatial planning with climate change adaptation policies. She has particularly focused on local governments’ adaptation processes, local climate action, urban resilience, and sustainable urban development.
With her professional expertise, she continues to integrate the perspective of urban planning with climate change adaptation strategies, contributing to Türkiye’s national climate policies.
