Fatma Bayram Partal

Fatma Bayram Partal completed her PhD at the Institute of Marine Sciences and Management, Istanbul University, in the Department of Physical Oceanography and Marine Biology.

Her academic research primarily focuses on biological oceanography, phytoplankton ecology, marine biology, water quality variables, and microbial diversity. Through her studies, particularly in the Marmara Sea and Izmit Bay, she has made significant contributions to understanding phytoplankton community structure, pigment analysis, and ecosystem dynamics. Continuing her career as a senior research specialist at the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center, Marine Research and Technologies Group, Partal works on national and international projects in the fields of aquatic ecosystem conservation and monitoring of biodiversity.
