Gamze Sofuoğlu

Gamze Sofuoğlu is a founding team member of WeWALK, a company that develops technologies to support the active and independent participation of visually impaired individuals in social life. Since 2023, she has been serving as the Director of Marketing and User Experience at WeWALK.

Between 2014 and 2023, she managed numerous mobile applications and solutions for people with disabilities at Turkcell, including Hayal Ortağım (My Dream Partner). She also led projects aimed at ensuring that Turkcell provided accessible services to its customers with disabilities.

In addition to her professional career, Sofuoğlu has been actively involved for many years in volunteer work focusing on accessibility and disability inclusion. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boğaziçi University in 2013 and earned her master’s degree in Cognitive Psychology from the same university in 2019.
