Gürkan Kaya

Gürkan Kaya graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Yıldız Technical University in 2008 and earned a master’s degree in Urban Transformation and Planning from the same university in 2016.

Starting his professional career in 2007, Kaya worked as an urban planner in various private and public institutions, including private planning offices, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Istanbul 5th Regional Council Directorate for the Conservation of Cultural Assets, Esenler Municipality, Emlak Konut Real Estate Investment Company, and the Mass Housing Development Administration of Türkiye (TOKİ). In 2019, he served as Head of the Urban Transformation Branch at TOKİ. He also holds a Capital Markets Board (SPK) Licensed Real Estate Appraiser Certificate and has worked as an expert witness in his areas of professional expertise.

In 2019, Kaya joined KİPTAŞ as Deputy General Manager in charge of Projects and, as of October 2024, serves as the General Manager of KİPTAŞ.
