Haluk Levent
Prof., Faculty of Business, Istanbul Bilgi University
Haluk Levent completed his studies at Galatasaray High School and Istanbul Technical University, Department of Management Engineering, and earned his PhD in Economics from Istanbul University, Institute of Social Sciences.
He worked as a faculty member at ITU Business Faculty, Galatasaray University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and Altınbaş University Business Faculty. He currently serves as a Professor at Bilgi University, Faculty of Business. His research primarily focuses on labor economics, income distribution, and poverty. He has published articles and book chapters in both national and international scientific journals. He has also participated in numerous national and international projects supported by various institutions.
In addition to his academic work, he co-produces several regular weekly programs, including “Ağır Ekonomi” on Medyascope (Thursdays, 14:30 – 15:30), “Sermayenin Ötesinde” on Açık Radyo (Thursdays, 09:00 – 09:30), and “Kavanozdaki Yıldız” on Açık Radyo (Fridays, 16:30 – 17:00). His writings are also published on platforms such as Gazete Pencere and Medyascope Weekend Articles.
