Kevser Ismet Üstündağ

Kevser Üstündağ is a faculty member in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
She continues her work on transportation planning and planning education. She develops projects related to the social dimension of transportation with local governments, researchers, civil society volunteers, and local communities within the framework of the model she developed based on human movement, the "Organic Transportation Approach." She develops implementation and action plans with a multidisciplinary working group to address pedestrians and bicycles as complementary components of the transportation master plan.
Her efforts to translate social research on traffic culture and the safety of pedestrian and bicycle routes into spatial applications continue at local and international levels. She is a member of the Turkish delegation of the World Car-Free Cities Network, the International Association of Urban and Regional Planners, and the Walk21 Pedestrian Federation.
