Policy Officer, Time Use Initiative
Marc Martorell Escofet is a public policy expert and Policy Officer at the Time Use Initiative. He works on designing innovative, evidence-based solutions to urban and social challenges, specifically as part of the Secretariat for the Local and Regional Governments Time Network.
With an MA in International Relations and over five years of experience, he has worked across the public, private, and non-profit sectors in urban innovation and social welfare. His role at the Time Use Initiative involves developing narratives and public policies that position time as a civic right, adapting them to diverse national and cultural contexts, particularly in Europe and Latin America.
As part of the Network's Secretariat, Escofet researches and advises member cities on deploying and implementing time policies. He also manages the publication of the Local and Regional Time Agenda, a compilation of over 100 best practices related to care, mobility, climate, democracy, and nighttime policies.
