Merve Demirtaş Alkaç

Merve Demirtaş received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Physics Education at 19 Mayıs University and her Ph.D. from the Department of Physics at Middle East Technical University (METU). Between 2019 and 2020, she worked as a researcher at Bilkent University. Her doctoral and postdoctoral research focused on the catalytic performance of surfaces and the investigation of the electronic, optical, and vibrational properties of two-dimensional materials using advanced DFT methods. Since January 2021, she has been working as a Senior Researcher at TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM.
