Merve Özhan

Merve Özhan is an architect, educator, and researcher.
After earning her Bachelor’s in Architecture and a Master’s in Urban Design and Mobilities, she is currently pursuing research on mobility discourse and practices in public transportation. Her research combines ethnomethodology, discourse analysis, and Actor-Network Theory to examine urban infrastructures and behavior change strategies.
In Istanbul, she teaches design studios, guiding students to think critically and creatively about materials, space, and everyday experiences. Her work integrates spatial justice, sustainability, and participatory urbanism, aiming to contribute to more equitable and livable cities.
