Mohammad Al Nemrawi

Head of the Maintenance Department, Greater Irbid Municipality

Mohammad Al Nemrawi is a civil and geotechnical engineer with a strong focus on resilient infrastructure, sustainable urban development, and child-friendly cities. 

He holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering – Construction Management from Yarmouk University and an M.Sc. in Geotechnical Engineering from the University of Jordan, where his research focused on the seismic and static behavior of retaining wall systems. With more than six years of professional experience in Jordan and the UAE, he has worked on large-scale infrastructure, utilities, and municipal projects. He currently serves as Head of the Maintenance Department at Irbid Greater Municipality, where he manages planning, execution, and sustainability of municipal infrastructure. 

He is an active member of the municipality’s Early Childhood Development (ECD) unit, which seeks to integrate the needs of children and families into urban design and service delivery. Through this unit, he collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to promote safe public spaces, accessible services, and nurturing environments that support children’s growth and well-being.
