Nazlı Berivan Ak

Nazlı Berivan Ak completed a bachelor’s degree in Classical Philology at Ankara University’s Faculty of Language, History and Geography, Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures. She earned her master’s degree in Latin and Ancient Greek in the same department.
Since 2009, she has been working as an editor, translator, and rights manager, while also contributing as a specialist writer to various newspapers and magazines. She is the author of KONDA Research and Consultancy’s Independent Bookstores Research Report. Ak has served as a board member between the years 2021–2023 and 2023–2025; and Secretary General of the Turkish Publishers Association, and continues working within the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce’s Committees on Culture, Arts and Sports, as well as Foreign Trade. Her debut documentary The Bookseller premiered in 2023, and preparations are underway for her second film, Dost.
