Nazlı Yazgan has extensive experience in the field of urban and regional planning.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Yıldız Technical University and a master’s degree in Landscape Planning. She has carried out studies on urban renewal projects in Berlin. Since 1992, she has held various positions at Nilüfer Municipality, and between 2002 and 2019, she served as the Deputy Mayor of Nilüfer Municipality. She has played an active role in urban transformation projects and international collaborations in cooperation with the United Nations.
She is serving as the Head of the Department of Zoning and Urban Planning at Bursa Metropolitan Municipality. In addition, she contributes to the city’s planning and development processes through her roles in the Bursa Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Board and the Advisory Board of Bursa Technical University. She has made significant contributions in the fields of urban planning, sustainable development, and green space projects.
