Nursema Çiftçi
Project Development Specialist, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality
Nursema Çiftçi received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Bilkent University in 2010 and is currently completing her thesis in the Human Rights master’s program at Ankara University.
Since 2013, she has been working at Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, where she first served in the EU Relations Branch and the Protocol and Foreign Relations Branch, contributing to international events, official representation and hospitality, and cooperation with international networks and sister cities.
Since 2020, she has been working as a Project Development Specialist in the Research, Development and Innovation Branch, where she is responsible for applying to international, regional, and national project calls, managing awarded projects, and contributing to in-house project management trainings. She has extensive experience in preparing, implementing, and reporting projects supported by grants and funds.
Her work particularly focuses on smart cities and innovation, the entrepreneurship ecosystem, social cohesion, rural development, resilient cities, and child-friendly cities, where she has played an active role in the design and implementation of numerous local and international projects.
