Oktay Özman

Oktay Özman completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine and his specialist training at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, after which he became an associate professor of urology. He has published over fifty articles in international scientific journals. In addition to his professional career, he maintains a blog and microblog where he writes articles on the urban history of Istanbul. His works have been published in various literary and historical journals. His first book, "Cam Kenarından İstanbul (Istanbul by Window Seat)," was published by İletişim Publications in 2025.
