Olha Pikula
Councillor, Mariupol City Council
Olha Pikula has been serving since 2015 as an elected Councillor and Head of the Budget, Economics & SME Development Committee of the Mariupol City Council (now operating in exile). Her key focus has been on leading initiatives to amplify and diversify the local economy, strengthen civil society, empower women leaders—as an active member of the Women’s Democracy Network—and engage youth in shaping the city’s future.
Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, she has been actively involved in supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and in projects related to social and affordable housing, human capital preservation, and the post-war recovery and reconstruction of Mariupol. She continues to serve the relocated community of nearly 200,000 displaced Mariupol citizens across Ukraine.
Pikula serves as Director of Communications for their Charity Fund and as Coordinator of International Cooperation for the Mariupol City Council, working to build strong ties, foster cooperation, and develop partnerships with global stakeholders.
