Sinem Görücü
Founder, Researcher & Designer ,Feminist Design & King's College London,
Sinem Görücü is a researcher, designer, and advocate working at the intersections of AI, data, and social justice through an intersectional feminist lens. She is the founding director of Feminist Design, where she applies feminist frameworks to reimagine technology and design practices, and uses design and creativity as tools for feminist advocacy.
Her work spans creative practice, research, teaching, and public engagement, with a focus on community building. She has delivered talks, led workshops, and developed educational initiatives in collaboration with international institutions across academia, the private and public sectors, and civil society. Originally trained in urbanism and architecture, she continues her academic work in human-computer interaction (HCI) and is currently a PhD candidate at King’s College London, researching the communication of machine learning’s environmental footprint.
