Suat Akın Orbay

Suat Akın Orbay is a producer and composer. He creates new and fresh music for visual media, blending pop, electronic music, and hip hop. He also composes film scores and creates electronic music under his own name.

He strives to create detailed stories based on the meanings and connotations that sounds and music can hold. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Berklee College of Music's Contemporary Writing and Production and Professional Music departments in 2017, and his music has been featured on numerous platforms, including Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime. In 2023, the film he composed with Kelly Mac, "The Commuted," premiered at the New Orleans Film Festival and won the Audience Award and the Louisiana Documentary Award. He has also been co-organizing Ableton UG Istanbul for two years, organizing events and building a community in Istanbul under the umbrella of alternative electronic music and improvisation.

He participated in the establishment of the Bird Collective in 2025 and contributed to the project with the composition 'Yelkovanın Yolu' (The Path of the Minute).
