Syakir Amir Ab Rahman is an academic and researcher at the Kulliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
Trained in the field of urban and regional planning, expertise spans tourism planning, community development, and environmental design, with a strong focus on sustainability and inclusivity in urban contexts.He led and contributed to diverse research projects addressing indigenous tourism, elderly care integration, urban regeneration, and community resilience.
