Tansu Toprak

Tansu Toprak graduated from the Department of International Relations at Middle East Technical University in 2017. Following graduation, she contributed to various projects in the fields of sustainability, culture and art in Germany and Türkiye, engaging in socially beneficial work.

She later served as a Junior Project Specialist in a local government, where she developed projects focused on the Sustainable Development Goals and human rights, and contributed to building national and international collaborations. Since March 2022, she has been working at the Center for Spatial Justice (MAD), playing an active role in the implementation of the THE:PLACE program.

She is also continuing her academic studies through the Master’s program in Forestry System Transformation at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development in Germany.
