Nature-Based Solutions for Climate-Resilient Policies
As part of the Livable Cities Symposium organized annually by WRI Türkiye, a special workshop is being held this year under the umbrella of the Marmara Urban Forum (MARUF). Titled “Nature-Based Solutions (NbS) for Climate Resilience),” the workshop is discussing the integration of NbS into urban policies, diverse resilience needs of cities, as well as barriers, opportunities, and applicable solutions.
The workshop is being organized within the EU-supported NBS-CORES Project, in partnership with GIPA, Ecolution Georgia, WRI Türkiye, and FRI. The project focuses on Georgia’s Adjara Region and seven provinces in Türkiye’s Marmara Region (Istanbul, Tekirdağ, Edirne, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya, and Yalova).
