Street Fighters: A Game of Street Transformation via Negotiation

Reclaiming Streets is a process about people, beyond plans and policies. In this interactive workshop, participants will take on different roles—such as a municipal officer, shopkeeper, caregiver, or child—and join a game shaped by unexpected events. 

Through the Reclaiming Streets Program, carried out by Marmara Municipalities Union (MMU) and Turkey- and Denmark-based Superpool in collaboration with GDCI, approximately 10,000 m² of street space has been transformed so far. The aim is to build on these experiences to explore gamified scenarios, experience the challenges of street transformation, understand the perspectives of different stakeholders, and develop creative solutions.
