Historical Traces, Vibrant Streets: Cibali-Fener-Balat

This route, guided by the Istanbul Tükenmeden team, takes participants on a journey through the historic districts of the Golden Horn. Traces of ancient cultures that survived until the 1960s, along with the long-established culture of coexistence, will be experienced in various venues. While exploring the neighborhood life of the past step by step in the narrow streets of Cibali, Fener, and Balat, participants will also experience the contemporary colors of said neighborhoods.

Notes:

Each participant may only register for one route.

After registering, route tickets must be acquired from the MARUF stand on MARUF days.

Participants must be at the Haliç Congress Center with their tickets at 1:30 PM.

Registration information will be provided one week prior.

Transportation to the route's starting point will be provided. At the end of the route, participants will be transported by their own means.
